Belinda Lee

Attractive and bubbly Belinda was an ex-MTV VJ before joining MediaCorp Studios as a Variety Host. Talented scouted at a regional contest, she is now an accomplished host with regional experience tucked under her belt, the most memorable being MTV Kan Yi Kan, which won the Best Magazine Entertainment Programme in Asian Television Awards in 1999.

Belonging to Singapore's new league of modern and talented artiste, she was naturally invited to join the big media company MediaCorp, where she further broadened her artistic skills by trying her hands on acting. She acted in Katong Miss Oh alongside with Singapore top actress Zoe Tay and later made audience sit up and notice her during her debut Drama serial, playing the dual role of a prostitute and a girl-next-door convincingly in Room In My Heart.

Quick-witted and a fast-learner, Belinda charmed and bonded with the audience and became popular figure with the public especially during major festive events like NDP2004 concert and Lunar New Year show 2004. Effectively bilingual, she went on to hone her hosting skills in a Channel News Asia English programme Show me the Money, proving that she can host Current Affairs programme with a serious topic.

With her enthusiastic "can do" attitude, Belinda is not one to rest on her laurels. She is always ready to take on new challenges, be it a Drama role, or walking among rats in India during Planet Shakers, a Travel progarmme or bending backwards (literally) for a Magazine cover or hosting Heart & Soul, an Arts related documentary.

Belinda touched the hearts of many Singaporeans in her travelogue Find Me a Singaporean when she steps into foreign lands, going on a search for fellow Singaporeans who are doing meaningful things for the better of other people.

Belinda won the Best info-ed host in 2009 Star Awards.
